Whether you have 15 minutes in your lunch break or an hour and 15 minutes – we can help you to transform the way your body looks, feels and performs. From the new rage in fitness (vibration training) to the mind-body workout of Pilates - Pause caters to your health and wellbeing needs.
Pause Wellbeing studio is a small, friendly environment where our staff encourage quality of life. At Pause we are aware of the effort it takes to remain focused on health and wellbeing with today's busy schedules.

In addition to Pilates for conditioning,Pause has experienced physiotherapists who specialise in injury and chronic pain rehabilitation using the Pilates method as well as Women's Health Pilates.

Patrina Adams Pilates Instructor
Patrina joined Pause in March 2008 and has been taking many of the evening Mat classes. Patrina is a Polestar educated Pilates Instructor with a special interest in Pilates as a stress management tool in addition to its strengthening and toning benefits. She loves Dancing and when she is not at Pause she is busy being mum to her 7 year old son. |  |
Mark Burnett Vibration Trainer
Mark is currently completing his degree to become a Physiotherapist. Therefore he has a wealth of knowledge of the body, fitness and injury prevention. Currently Mark works on a Tuesday evening and Saturday morning. |  |
Anna Elliot-Foster Physiotherapist/Pilates Instructor
Anna has extensive physiotherapy experience including private practice physio from 2005-2010; Inpatient physio in Mackay Base Hospital 2006;Sports, occupational overuse, arthritis and post surgical patients;Post graduate Manipulative Therapy and has completed her Masters (Clinical)Acupuncture 2010.
Her physiotherapy special interest are sports injuries;muscle balance;acupuncture and pilates
Other Interests outside of work are general fitness, snowboarding, swimming. Anna enjoys to travel and intend on seeing much more of the world.
Pilates as a therapy tool began several years ago when she saw the benefits this mind-body technique had in people with movement disorders and associated muscle imbalances.
Anna is passionate about using the Pilates approach to help a wide range of presentations including chronic pain, postural problems, women's health and orthopaedic issues.
For those practising Pilates for general body conditioning, Anna is also enthusiastic about ensuring clients receive the maximum benefit from their sessions.

Grace Tuaiti Vibration Trainer
Grace is an experienced fitness professional with a background in fitness instructing and aerobics. She is passionate about working with people and brings great energy and enthusiasm to her work. Many will know Grace for her incredible motivation skills and challenging workouts.
It is her desire to help improve the quality of people‟s lives, through equipping herself with the knowledge to empower others to better health and wellbeing. Good health, wise food choices and maintaining a good base fitness level, are key components to the prevention of lifestyle diseases. To encourage and educate others in the basics of these components is a vital tool to investing in the future health and wellbeing of today‟s society. Health and Fitness is a medium in which to help people improve their quality of life, whether they are facing diseases or whether they are not. Lifestyle choices can make a difference to the lives of everyone, and good health choices and physical activity are areas that are too important to not address. |  |
Kate Corbett Owner/Physiotherpist/Pilates Instructor
Kate is a New Zealand registered physiotherapist. She has worked in New Zealand, England and Ireland – in various physiotherapy, Pilates and holistic health and wellbeing settings. Her area of expertise is in Women's Health Pilates, Obstetric physiotherapy and Acupuncture.
Kate has 3 young daughters which keep her busy when she is not in the clinic or studio.

Casey Anderson Vibration Trainer/Pilates Instructor
Our newest member to the team Casey has vast experience in both Vibration Training and Pilates.She has recently returned home from Australia and we a delighted to have her on board with us at Pause. In her spare time she enjoyes reading and anything that is both physically and mentally challenging, she enjoyes training for marathons, triathlons and playing touch rugby and netball both at premiere levels. Casey is passionate about health and fitness and training YOU. |  |
